Island of Lemurs: Madagascar IMAX Movie

Island of Lemurs: Madagascar is an IMAX film highlighting the plight of the highly endangered species. Narrated by Morgan Freeman, the film features Dr. Patricia C. Wright of Stony Brook University.

The Holtzman Wildlife Foundation supported Stony Brook University’s efforts with local outreach partners to educate children in Madagascar about the importance of lemur conservation. With battery operated projectors funded by HWF, they were able to offer a mass viewing of the IMAX movie and children were able to establish an important connection with their own culture.
