The Forgotten Panda

With support from the Holtzman Wildlife Foundation, The Forgotten Panda was translated and distributed to support conservation efforts of the Red Panda in Nepal.

The Red Panda Network works directly with the community to educate local children on the importance of red panda conservation. Local students and people living in Nepal are on the frontlines of conservation and our most important allies for saving the red panda. The HWF supported the translation of the film into Nepalese, Bhutanese, and Hindi for local distribution.

Tucked away in a remote bamboo jungle in the shadow of the Himalayas lives a rare creature. The most beautiful mammal on earth – the Red Panda. The red panda is not easy to find in this dense woodland. This is why it has been neglected and forgotten about. This needs to change.

This short documentary helps to make this elusive animal better known and protected.
